Located only 10 minutes from Nassau International Airport, Compass Point Beach Resort

the resort encompasses the Island’s Junkanoo flavor and culture with 18 brightly colored
huts lining the cobblestone walkways. While withdrawn from the hustle and bustle of
downtown, it is still within easy access to Cable Beach, downtown Nassau and Paradise
Island. It's the perfect place for a relaxing getaway, but with the ability to be as
active as you please. For those who value simplicity, comfort, creativity and romance,

Compass Point, located on two secluded acres just 25 minutes from
downtown Nassau and neighbour to Compass Point Recording Studios,
is a very colourful, relaxed, friendly hotel, small and intimate
in size, yet big in style!
The striking, bold exteriors hide more muted and subtle interiors,
with simple yet charming accommodation all boasting hand-crafted
wooden furnishings that blend with the tropical setting.
There is a fine ocean front restaurant enjoyed by guests and locals alike,
where one can dine on nouvelle Californian/Caribbean cuisine,
enjoyed either al fresco or in the cool interior. Among the delicious and
innovative items on the menu are grilled and blackened fresh fish with local
salsas and relishes; conch chowder spiked with dark rum and Bahamian makki
roll with conch, mango and cucumber served with wasabi and pickled ginger -
not for the unadventurous amongst you!
The hotel now has direct access to Love Beach and is located near the island's
renowned Lyford Cay and Old Fort Bay sections in a quiet, secluded neighbourhood just
a short drive from the island's golf courses, tennis courts, casinos and nightlife.
Watersports available close to Compass Point include scuba diving, water-skiing,
snorkelling and jet skis.
“Wonderful Wedding Location”
We held our wedding ceremony at Compass Point, with approximately 50 guests.
The ceremony was on the pier and it was absolutely beautiful. Lynda Scully
(one of the managers) is very professional and highly organized. We would highly
recommend the Compass Point for a wedding.

The perfect place to relax in the most pristine, beautiful place on earth. You never
really have to leave Compass Point -- between the top-notch restaurant, the ocean,
the pool, the hot tub and the bar, there's everything you could ever want in a
tropical vacation, all within 100 feet of your room.
“My Idea of Heaven”
I have traveled all over the world and stayed in 5 star hotels and have never had such a
wonderful time as I experienced at Compass Point. The staff never stopped trying to
provide my small group of friends with absolutely anything we needed. The Hotel is
situated in the middle of Love Beach with sprawling white sand beaches and crystal
blue waters.
I decided to write this article simply to thank everyone at Compass Point for the most
relaxing and fun filled vacation of my life.
